There is 2 methods you can do to hurt the gecko snapper combo miniboss in the Woodfall Temple. The intended way is by using the deku mask in the flower to shoot up against his underside to split them up. The method I discovered on my own was put the blast mask on and blow up when they get really close when they attack. They will split apart either way.
