Amiibo support is now available in Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS. make sure to update to 1.0.5 on your Nintendo 3DS System to use Amiibo function. NOTE: Only New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL support Amiibo, a portal for older Nintendo 3DS models will be released later this year
