    @ Sarah, at the start of the game Link is riding on Epona looking for Navi. He is ambushed by the Skull Kid and steals his Ocarina and Epona. Link give chase and all of them end up in Termina. The Skull Kid would not have a Termina counterpart, but the boy who the Skull Kid use to be would. Also remember that the Skull Kid has been around for looooong time as he was friends with the Four Giants

    But yeah. It's just a theory, one some of us happen to like. I like it. So there's no need for snarky comments about denying canon or whatever. Majora's Mask is my favorite game of all time, and I just love the eerieness the purgatory theory adds. -Shrug.-

    That theory was deconfirmed WAY before that video was made. 1: Ninty confirmed Termina as an alternate dimension. 2: The DABDA theory was deconfirmed by Ikana (AKA, the land where the dead DON'T except their deaths and torment the people living there until Link intervenes).

    @Ethan. Yes, its the same Skull Kid. After Majora is deafead and the Skull Kid is free he remembers Links smell. This means that the Skull Kid goes back and forth between Termina and Hyrule as he made friends with the Four Giants and Saria, and like to play small pranks on the people of Termina and hang out in the Lost Woods

    All MATPAT proved is that anybody can make up any theory they want to try and get famous. Shove it on a homemade channel and people are so starved for controversy and entertainment that instead of playing the game and making up their own minds, they'll come here and argue about it while MATPAT laughs his way to the bank with his 15 minutes of fame still intact... For Now...

    MatPat is smart. He know's and understands YouTube analytics, even helps other YouTubers on how to get more views. He knows what kind of video's to make so people will watch it to get the most views and more money. This does not mean he is always right, all it means is he know how to get views. Also, you can't apply real world math and physics to a fantasy video game- it just doesn't work.

    I don't think he's dead in MM. While it can be fun to see science brought into games, Game Theory doesn't make sense: the whole reason we play these games is because we're getting away from real life.
