Which Zelda game would be best to start with? I've never played a Zelda game but I'm thinking I may start. I don't really have much experience with games besides playing a lot of Pokemon and a bit of Mario. Do you think I would be interested?

  • Skyward Sword. After that, the time line gets confusing. But the best thing about Zelda is that you can pick up any game and not be confused by the story.

  • Ocarina of Time, then Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker's also after Ocarina of Time because it's in a separate universe.

  • But Skyward Sword's the very beginning

  • well, the origional game is the first game... so you would need a gameboy. simalar to a DS, but smaller. i've seen my sister play the first game, and its all that pixelated stuff.

  • If you only have 3DS I really recommend the Oracle games or Link's Awakening which is quite cheap and they will give you a taste of what playing a Zelda game is like :-). Keep in mind they are Gameboy Color games, I think :-). As for Non-Virtual Console games you can start with Ocarina of Time 3D or A Link Between Worlds, but it is all up to you Mavro :-).

  • I think I might start with Ocarina of Time. Thanks for all the advice guys. :]

  • I hope you have fun playing Ocarina of Time Marvo :-). It is a nice game in my view :-).

  • Thanks. :] I think I might be able to get a hold of the N64 version.

    Yeahs0
  • what is the ocarina of time?

    Yeahs0
  • Mervo@ You mean like the actual N64 Ocarina of Time game with the cartridge and such o.o. I know it is purchasable in the Wii Shop on the Wii U ;^^. Still nice ;-).

    Yeahs0
  • Yeah, my N64 still lives. I'm not sure if I had Ocarina of Time though. Hopefully it's around somewhere.

  • Nice ^^. I am just a bit too young for the N64 era and have never buyed one later either ;^^. I grew up in the Gameboy Colour era, just a bit after the N64 era I think :-)

    Yeahs0
  • So, what are the Oracle games like?

    Yeahs0
  • Oh, my first Zelda game was either Minish Cap or Wind Waker :-). I didn't get the Oracle games before the 3DS and I still have to complete them ;^^. In the Gameboy Colour era I was all about Pokemon Yellow I think ;^^. Now I am a bit tired of normal Pokemon games ;^^. Still, I hope there will continue to come out fun games from Nintendo :-).

  • I love Pokemon! I'm getting a bit tired of doing just Pokemon so that's why I want to try something new. Zelda just might do the trick.

    Yeahs0
  • I have to go to bed now ;^^. (Didn't watch the clock ;^^). Anyway if you are interested I really recommend the Oracle games :-). Seasons focus more on action and Time focus more on puzzeles I think :-).

    Yeahs0
  • Smell ya later!

    Yeahs0
  • Now days I rather see a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game like the DS ones than a normal Pokemon game ;-). (Quick one).
