    Omg, I can put my degree to use here. Creating superior customer satisfaction and value is one of the main goals of an organisation. The main point of contact with an organisation is the shop floor employees. In order to ensure they provide the optimum experience to ensure satisfaction, they need to ensure that they're there if you have any problems. If they don't ask, negativity spreads.

    <From a Fast-Food Worker> Realtalk: There are a number of reasons we do this. 1. Our Bosses are breathing down our necks. 2. Mystery Shoppers deduct points from our Overall Scores if we don't follow EXACT PROCEDURES, including pestering you with usless questions. 3. After a few hours of dealing with #1, we are more or less Zombies at the end of the day. I hate it too, but I got to make a livin'.

    Oh no, I agree with you. It is remarkably annoying. But I have to do what my boss says >-< She pays my bills. But of course, if you're a regular, then it shouldn't be a problem. *Shrug* We'd recognize you enough not to pester you.
