Question

There's something I don't understand. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ness is in Earthbound and Lucas is in Mother 3, right? And they're in separate timelines, right? How can Ness and Lucas fight against Porky together in the Subspace Emissary, then? With my understanding, Porky's a child in Earthbound, but he's, well, THAT in Mother 3.
