I swear everyone else on Miiverse has friends who own Nintendo consoles, and is allowed to play video games in school. Where do you people even live.

  • At lunch, we're allowed to use electronics. I think we can during free periods, too. I mean, I do.

  • british schools pls

    Yeahs2
  • You just don't quite have the necessary sass to pull off the "pls"

  • Yeah, but you get to take maths class. We just get boring old math.

  • @Dol: EXCUSE ME DAHLING? :O @Keith: But you guys don't get PE. Or do you? I dunno...

    Yeahs2
  • Oh. *cancels flight to America*

    Yeahs5
  • We do get PE. I got lucky and was able to skip it in high school by taking Ready, Set, Teach! Apparently almost dying every single day because my lungs don't work at all wasn't good enough for the state of Texas... And that's not sass, come on. You can do better

  • @Dol: Kinda makes me feel bad for not doing PE since Year 8, even though I'm in perfectly good health...

    Yeahs1
  • Oh yeah, I forgot about your wacky year-labeling system. Which probably makes more sense than America's, which throws in a German word for some reason.

  • Really Keith? 8th grade was my last year of PE

  • For some reason, the absolute first year in primary school (for ages 4 to 5) is called "reception", THEN it's Year 1, 2 and so on. Never understood that...

    Yeahs2
  • Exactly

  • That makes more sense than "kindergarten" and "pre-kindergarten" to me.

    Yeahs1

  • And that's very clearly so they can call you receptionists and claim to be a temp agency

  • @Keith: But isn't kindergarten like nursery? And optional? @Dol: And I was wondering why I seemed to be taking so many lessons in an office...

    Yeahs1
  • No. Pre-K is optional

    Yeahs1

  • First is nursery, which I think is optional. Then pre-K, Kindergarten, and then the numbered grades start. Then high school is freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, and college repeats that.

  • They just make this all up off the top of their heads, don't they?

    Yeahs0
  • It has to look like they're putting effort into education somewhere....
