I was just playing the original Smash Bros. on my Nintendo 64 and you know what? Despite being archaic and kind of outdated compared to the newer games, the original is still worth playing. It's got great music, great sound design, fun stages, I find its blocky graphics oddly charming, and I think it's still overall fun. I still definitely like it more than Melee, at least.
