Adventure Time used to be filled with fun episodes of Finn and Jake roaming Ooo looking for adventure. Now it's all backstory stuff and unoriginal "new" words the writers try to make up.

I actually liked Ice King's backstory on that VHS tape thing.

I liked that too, (and the one with marveling) but it's that the majority of the new episodes seem to be filler episodes that don't really build up to anything special.
