    It just takes practice. Learning the attack patterns of monsters really help. it all comes in time tho. keep at it and you will be awesome in no time

    if you're new to mh and hunting sims i guess they're called, its weird at first. first thing is to take your time. keep in mind that if your playing solo, it takes time. i litteraly used to run out of time. yeah hour long battles to lose in the end. Timing of attacks and dodges is essential.

    Essentially it's just practice. Even the easiest of Monsters can be tricky to beginners. Learn the Monster, know your weapon, pack necessary items, buy and forge better armor. You say you're bad at the game, but even veterans at one point have lost to low level monsters. Even me, Qurupeco back in Tri gave me trouble. Now I give Crimson Qurupecos trouble in 3 Ultimate. Point is don't give up.
