    i have used the long sword for many years. it is easy to use but i switched to the hammer and it's harder but more fun

    if you want simplicity, go with dual swords for speed, long sword for balance, or hammer for strength. the other weapons take a little more focus then these 3 basic ones. and of course if you want annoyingly complicated, go with a ranged weapon.
