Shagaru Magala is interesting. If you use hit-and-run tactics and in general keep your distance, you'll get wrecked by all of his projectiles. But if hug reeaaally close to him (nearly underneath him), and semi-intelligently dodge, he's a cakewalk.

    Ya that's the general tactic for the magala's lol. Not that hard to figure out really since usually fast monsters are best fought up close to keep from chasing u down much.

    It's a solid strategy, but can fall apart against a level 140 Shagaru. Getting underneath him often means your view is obstructed by his wings...which can lead to you not seeing a geyser appear under your feet.

    But he utilizes so freaking MANY of them, plus the lightning rods, plus him dive-bombing and charging you, make it challenging.

    Against shagaru its best to stay on its sides or behind it. But against gore its not as risky being underneath except in its frenzied state. Shagaru can easily rear back and pound u if u try being underneath him for too long lol.

    The dual pound is the one move you need to watch out for. But even then, it has enough of a tell not to be very challenging.
