    I like the Gamecube controller more than the Wii Remote & Nunchuk tbh. We do not speak of playing Smash with just the Wii Remote.

    It's my favorite Smash game, and not just because of the competitive scene. I like playing Melee with friends IRL. It's always a blast. 4 comes really close as my favorite, though.

    Me and my friends have never liked playing it. We don't care much for it. Brawl was just better to play with friends, IMO. The competitive scene is boring at this point. It isn't fun to watch anymore...

    I found its techniques to be cheap. As long as you knew them, it didn't matter what character you used as long as the other player didn't know them.

    Same, the "wavedashing" mechanic is OP, glad it was removed.
