    Didn't know that, I've always heard SapphireXRubby well accepted. Tbh I don't know why it wouldn't be, they're just moving space rocks that have no gender. Non of the crystal gems or home world have a gender. And to me I think Pearl saw her as a mother figure as well as the others, just look at the flashback episode of how Mr.U met Rose now including Rodney.

    I'm not sure if I completely knew what I was talking about, but not everyone knows the Crystal Gems are genderless. And I thought Pearl had a crush on Rose.
