If you enter an Animal Barrel while in the form of an Animal Buddy, it'll work like a DK Barrel. The main difference is that Animal Barrels can be refreshed.

    I've always wondered why only DKL2 and DKL3 do this; this doesn't happen in DKC2 or DKC3 for some reason. (By the way, in DKL3, if you move far away from the barrel then return to it, it will respawn, so you can get as many hits as you want while you're an animal!)

    Sorry, I read your post too quickly. Anyway, it doesn't happen in DKL2 anyway, which makes DKL2 a bit harder than DKL3 in that respect.
