Brawl will always be the worst Smash IMO because it made Roster-Cuts in Smash a real thing.

  • Ness was lucky to get in Melee.

  • But everyone made it into Melee safely. Not so much in Brawl and WiiU-3DS

  • Ness was in the original for N64

  • ^ Yeah but they almost cut him in favor of Lucas

  • Exactly. After seeing IceClimbers cut, the whole "Original Roster won't get cut" premise is comatose. No character is safe. Whelp, except Mario and Link I guess.

  • Ice Climbers were a special exception. They had no choice because of the hardware limitations. ICs will be back in SSB5.

  • I genuinely do not believe that. After seeing Rosalina/Luma's set-up, I think Nintendo just didn't bother with IC. I know the mechanics aren't exactly the same, but you cannot tell me IC couldn't get in because of issues and yet Rosie and Luma can mirror themselves ACROSS THE STAGE. Again, I know it's not exactly the same, but I still cannot bring myself to believe their excuse.

  • Nana is a seperate character. Luma is more like the Pikmin.

  • Nana mirrored Popo's actions. She was like a shadow. But you also brought-up a good point. Olimar and Pikmin are acting separately as well. Again, I don't know the mechanics... but I still don't believe "Technical Limits" was the real/only reason IC got canned...

  • What I'm still wondering about is the questionable removal of Wolf.

    Yeahs0
  • Wolf will be purchasable DLC. Nintendo planned this BS from the beginning. Get people to pay extra for Lucas, Mewtwo, Wolf, Roy and Snake (And IC when Nintendo conveniently Figures-out how to make them playable.) Dr. Mario was put back on the Roster as a tease. Nintendo knew no one (excluding myself) wanted him back, so they didn't bother making him DLC.
