In Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, DK sees a commercial for a mini Mario toys, he loves it so much that he immediately goes out to the store to buy them, but there aren't any, he even checking multiply stores, he then goes the the main toy factory to just steal them. Nintendo just predicted what has happen with Amiibos and what's going to happen with Amiibos in a game they made back in 2004.
