    @Nathan Yes. In fact, I was saving most of it in case I messed up @ Mega Mewtwo, but I beat it after using all items.

    @Nathan You can get a great score (20k+) without items, by using the home screen button as a pause. Each time it will give you half a second to watch the screen and make precise matches. Also helps when pkmn are falling. Pause before and after every match and double your score!
