    I just watched that hour-long video on Nintendo's YouTube channel showing off various parts of the game. I wish I hadn't, because now I don't know how I'm supposed to wait for it to come out over here. If only I understood Japanese, and had a Japanese Wii U...

    Odds are it will be a long wait as text heavy as the game is probably a year in translation before they can localize it.

    Yeah, RPGs usually do take about a year. Hopefully Nintendo can get it done faster like they've been doing with Pokemon lately.

    Oh that's right, I forgot about the Treehouse play thru. I didn't watch it b/c I'm 100% certain I'll get this on one and will put 100+ hrs into it. Can't wait!

    They didn't really show anything new except some of the options for customizing those mech-things and how battles work with those. It was just that seeing the game for a whole hour like that really made me want it even more.

    If the game were more like an MMORPG and had let you pick alien races as alternatives to humans and had spellcasters then I would have wanted the game so im not getting it but it looks like a decent game overall.

    We are just the opposite. When the first video was shown and it appeared there were chat boxes, I was concerned it might be an MMO. My interest would have plummeted. I'm very happy that the online is present but minimal.

    Same here. MMORPGs have next to no story, and everything just feels empty. I'm hoping the multiplayer in this will be similar to Dragon Quest IX- There, but completely optional.

    I read the Iwata Asks about this game and that's exactly what it sounds like. There, but completely optional. A lot of it isn't even directly playing with someone, which I think is fantastic.

    i really cant wait, though i dont kniw if i should buy at launch. reason being im much too busy playing bloidborne, dark souls 2 and monster hunter 4u. and witcher 3 will come out on pc in a few days. i have a full agenda

    I'm guessing this won't be out until around Christmas this year, if not next year. You've got plenty of time to finish up the other games.
