    To ken: I'm guessing you asked "Is it actually a pest" and I'm guessing you're refering to Ene. So to answer your question, before Shintaro and Ene joined the Mekakushi Dan, yes, she was a pest. TLDR; Yes, she was before an important part of the story happened.

    Okay. Takane, one day (rhyme not intended), was going to visit Haruka in the hospital. But she collapses, sees her teacher, blacks out, see the town from "Headphone Actor" and is suddenly turned into Ene. She also had a thing for Haruka, but she didn't get to tell him. *cough* Whew...
