    I was kicking some booty online! Metal Gear has as much bone chilling moments as the VHS copies of Platoon and Deer Hunter but modernized. Defiantly NOT for children. Even I get nightmares. Something about the series captures the realism of war. Splinter Cell knows the science of war, Metal Gear knows the psychological horror of war. Respect!

    I find it interesting that The Phantom Pain takes place right before Metal Gear for the Nintendo Entertainment System. For a while, I thought Guns of the Patriots was the very last game of the series.

    Same here MGS4 also was to me the best mgs game out of the bunch but i always wanted to know how snake was raised and the phantom pain will hopefully explain all of the missing pieces.
