    i believe england is quite fond of mr paddington. i used to watch an old british comedy show where one of the stars was always bringing up his paddington bear

    Paddington bear would have been seen on British TV by most people aged in their late 30's, early forties. It was a very popular children's program, with simple animation, from a time when we only had two channels that showed kids shows for a few hours a day. He loves marmalade sandwiches!

    I remember reading his books as a kid in the US. The show ur thinking of is 'Are you being served?' Mr Humphries a snow-haired guy would often tote Paddington around.

    my favorite British show is last of the summer wine . checked it out at the library and it comes on channel two . i was so sad when they stopped making the show its on youtube if anyone wants to check it out .
