    ya, shieks water shield wont work on all attacks are devastating, 1 attack busts through the shield. however, in dont get hit missions in the MQ map, it DOES work, and protects you from 4 hearts worth of damage like normal [though attacks that take a whole lot may still bring you down to a quarter health... but not sure]

    Use the bow! Lock on to the enemy and hit it with an arrow. It may seem useless on regular levels, but even your attacks are devastating! Just remember to lock on.

    I did try to lock on and use the bow, but get hit by small guys, so I tried to kill those small guys but one of them hit me from the back, some how I got more hearts, so I continued to stay from a distance and use my bow, and then I got hit by a small guy that uses an arrow, I guess I need to constantly roll around? Do I need to level up the badges before I use the water shield?

    I am not aware that Sheik has a shield, what about other characters? Do they have shield as well?

    I do a mix between Shiek's Water Shield and the Bow and Arrows. And if u can't use either, Master Evasive rolling and one hit kos on the commanders. Keep an eye out for projectile attacks and try to evade away from any enemy to avoid sneak attacks. Good thing they added a Restart Battle option in the Pause menu if i mess up.

    you need to fire your bow, then dodge roll after it, and the water shield will not work for all attacks are devastating like i said, but you dont really need to upgrade badges for it

    @Nin Mario: I actually remember the water shield working in those type of missions. I think in those missions the water shield registers the attacks they do as normal damaged attacks and not as full on devastating attacks.

    Feel free to use the lightning note as it kills your enemies, not in one hit though but it can help.
