Wow gamepad chargers are a piece of garbage!!! It breaks in less in a year!!! Its dumb how it doesn't last!! Now my three days are ruined, because of this stupid gamepad charging system, this is seriously the worst flaw the system has is how terrible the gamepad charges because of chargers that don't last longer than a year and a half combined with poor gamepad battery life, this sucks!

    I've had my charger for more than half a year, and I don't use the plain wire, but the attachable base charger that you plug the wire charger into and then set the gamepad into. Dunno what you're talking about, man... But I do have to agree the gamepad's battery life sucks. Just get a Pro remote, works really well. I haven't charged it since my first charge (probs about 4 months ago). Very handy.

    The only thing that bugs me about the Gamepad is that battery life X(. I haven't had any problems with the charger tho :/

    My charger has lasted more than a year... Mine hasn't broken ever, so I dunno... But if you want an experience similar to the gamepad without losing the ''serious battle'' feel, a Pro controller is a great option. Works great for me at least.

    I use the Gamecube controller, and I prefer it over all other options, but when I had to get a new one I used a Pro controller in the meantime

    My charger has been around for a year+ also. The babattery life isn't that bad! Just use the lowest brightness xD

    Yes, the gamepad is needed for many reasons, but when you're playing Smash the pro controller works awesome, at least for me. In any case, just buy another gamepad charger, and make sure you buy it from Nintendo and not some 3rd party sellers.
