In this game, Enguarde appears as early as Seabed Shanty, the second level! He is my favorite animal friend. Unfortunately, he was nerfed in this game. Not only has he inexplicably lost his charging move, but he no longer automatically dashes forward when he's near an enemy. This makes him harder to use... he still makes these coral levels easier, though. And faster, too!
