Unlike in DKC3, Barbos is fought early in the game -- he's the first boss this time, in Cape Codswallop! He still attacks with Lurchins, and you have to deflect them back at him. This game is picky about the timing when attacking Lurchins, so make sure that they're open when you attack them! Other than that, this boss shouldn't be too hard. He goes down in 3 hits!
