Does HR only increase by doing online quests? I'm about 60 hours into Single Player quests and still only HR1. MH3U on 3DS didn't have online play so not sure how it works in 4U.

    it does increase by doing online but you have to complete your quest on the online

    It can be offline but you still need to go to the gathering hall and finish the KEY « quests

    To gain HR do quests at the gathering hall. This can be offline or online. Eventually an urgent quest will appear at the hall. Complete it and gain HR.

    Thanks everyone for the replies. I've struggled with some HR+1 quests in the Gathering Hall solo, so i'm gonna finish off as much of the SP as possible to get some better gear before doing GH quests. Last few times I tried low lvl GH stuff online the person(s) would quit or d/c mid quest/fight. :-(

    I'm in Vancouver so PST timezone. I usually play anytime after 1pm and generally play until 7-8am So if your around during those times i'm up for it. I may be busy tonight but tomorrow I'll be back to my regular 12-16hrs a day playing lol

    @Jon What's your Characters name in-game? So I'll know when/if I find you lol. I played all afternoon yesterday and would do 1-2 quests with whoever joined before sending them guild card & friend requests to ensure they were atleast competent players. But I don't have much for guild quests at the moment, so might change my Guild Hall settings to this. Quest type: Any Target: 1★ Quests

    I've been looking for you in others Guild Hall search all weekend haha. To no avail, but I'll keep making my GH with the same settings, it'll be set to the ★ rating of my HR at the time, which is currently 2.
