Remember when I said there were two English versions of DKL3? Well, one of the known differences is at the end of this level (Tundra Blunda). In early English cartridges, there was no pit here, and the end of the level was just after the steel keg. In later English cartridges, as well as the 3DS version, a pit was added, as you can see here. The Japanese version (for GBC) also has this pit!

  • I think the pit was added because there was originally a minor bug in early English carts where Kiddy could take the steel keg, toss it to the right, and it would float in mid-air. It's hard to explain.
