Question

What's the best method to stop a monster from fleeing? My palicoes sometimes jump on them and pull the flying ones down, not sure if you can improve that ability. But fast ground enemies and flying enemies get away from me continuously. Even sheathing my weap and giving chase rarely helps. I feel like such a noob when they drag me through 5-6 zones. Maybe i'll start capturing instead of killing

    try mounting. glaive jump or a nearby ledge. flash bombs can work too

    Yeah I figured mounting was probably the best way. But they usually tend to knock me down or stun me in a way before they flee. And running with the IG is pretty slow.

    Flash bomb stunlocking works well for monsters that fly away, such as Ian or Los. It's a bit finnicky though, and doesn't always work.
