Phew!...finally! Critical Brach is down! Had a bad run on 1st attempt so i abandoned, but i did better on 2nd attempt and succeeded. Got carted once tho due to getting pressured from its combo and my stamina guage was in the red so the next attack carted me lol. I call bull on its explosive horn thrust tho lol, they boosted that attack explosive power up way too strong where its pretty much a-

    Sure hope you aren't planning to farm it solo if you want to make one of the fully-upgraded Brachy weapons.

    @brian heck no! Lol. Im group farming this beast XD. Solo would take way too much time and effort, especially considering it can easily cart u with them high powered explosions.

    Lol oh. Well i just boost up whatever stats i feel like having on it as its main source of strength. Really doesn't matter much how u raise them unless you're going after that special type kinsect that can hold more than one essence but idk exactly how to get that one.

    But i mostly go after speed stats for my kinsects and stamina. Mainly speed tho since i like for my kinsects to move fast towards their targets so i can extract essences faster. I also mainly go after the butterfly lookin ones or hornet lookin ones as they're naturally fast.

    Sometimes i'll add a lot of power to them but power doesn't matter much from them small bugs lol. But they can help with breaking/severing parts.

    Ya that's what i usually do lol. Yes its called: "Pheromone Shot" its used to mark a specific spot u want ur kinsect to land on the monsters and extract specific essences. Red = Power, Orange = Defense, White = Increased jumping, and Green = Healing.

    It doesn't do any damage tho it just mark the monsters of the essences color where its located.

    Just a tip for Kinsect upgrading: While it doesn't matter as much early on, there's four different final Kinsects no matter what upgrade path you choose (though which path you go on can restrict your options), and their names depend on whether it's a cutting or impact one. I'll list them next post.

    On this listing, the first name is the impact version, the second name is the cutting version. Gleambeetle/Exalted Alucanid will deal more damage on hit. Ladytower/Bilbobrix will double the length of extract effects. Fleetflammer/Foliacanth charges up the charge attack faster. Great Arginesse/Great Elscarad can hold two extracts at once.

    Sweet! Thx for this info brian. Never did delve much into kinsect paths i just chose whichever one i wanted and boost its stats to my liking but in case i ever do decide to go after a specific one this list will surely help.

    Should also mention, on the 1st upgrade branching selection for the Kinsect: 1st choice (Power) will lock you to Pierce Up or Effect Extender. 2nd choice (Stamina) will lock you to Effect Extender or Charge Time Down. 3rd choice (Speed) will lock you to Charge Time Down or Pierce Up. 4th choice (Balanced) will lock you to Stored Extract +1. Your 3rd branching selection leads to your final.
