    Longsword is a good starter. good range and speed. they are all fun though. just play through each tutorial to get the feel for each type. i prefer the hammer myself. good luck!

    Great Sword, Hammer, andSword and Shield are fairly straightforward weapons. You might try one of those. Im playing hammer, but I started with the Greatswords back on the PS2.

    my main guy ChaoticKev uses six weapons Long Sword, SnS, Hammer, Lance, SwitchAxe, and InsectGlave but the choice is yours choose a weapon or weapons you're cumterble with

    It would depend on your type of play style actually.For some weapons you do a lot of damage spread throughout hits.You could also do a lot of damage in a small amount of hits.
