    That's not a glitch. What, you thought those big, yellow boxes that you shot did nothing? They unlock a few planes. The Amiibo unlock several planes, but if you use mario, luigi, pac-man, etc, it bypasses the need to shoot the boxes and unlocks it direct, as well as a unique color scheme. ( [COLOR 02]). so if you used a mario amiibo after unlocking the Mario Raptor, you'd only unlock the-

    -sigh- The yellow boxes unlock SOME planes. The DK F-18, the Luigi F-35, the Mario F-22, the Peach Typhoon, and the Pac-man PAK-FA. Amiibo unlock even MORE planes, except for the characters already listed, which you would simply unlock the second color scheme for.
