    Catch Charizard and Donphan, train your team up to at least level 4. I used level 6 Mega Sableye as well. That's the first hard stage. Wait until Mega Glalie...

    I miraculously beat it on my first try. I used Moltres, Combusken, and...Hm. I don't remember. I don't remember the mega either. Probably whichever isn't weak against it. I also barely won (no moves left, no combo happened).

    I managed to beat Mega Mawile without having to spend coins/jewels. Used Mega Sableye (you'd definitely want it to Mega Evolve during this battle, especially if you want to break those annoying barrier disruptions more quickly!), Charizard, Combusken and Lucario. @Ben: Donphan doesn't come until after you beat Mega Mawhile.

    Try using a Disruption Delay. Strong Pokémon like Lucario and Charizard help as well.

    Save your coins everyday instead of spending them, and when you finally have enough, buy a Complexity AND a Mega Start AND a +5 Moves power up, all at the same time.
