I hope it's at your house atleast and not elsewhere at large. That way it is far more likely to be stumbled across.
04/18/2015 9:12 PM ·Spoilers
Sorry to hear that Marek...xc I always check my bag to make sure the game is in there before I go. You guys should too.

Thes new random pokemon safari stages are a neat twist too! Picking a powerful and versatile team is a cool challenge.
04/20/2015 10:48 AM ·Spoilers
Over my first five plays only 2 different new pokemon 'randomly' showed up. By my 4th play I'd caught them both, one using a great ball. I'll post pictures as I find more to help know what you might be looking for. I had some succuss withe Lucario as mega, and Groudon and Xerneas as team members for versatility and power. 2 down, ? to go.

Yeah, those are the two I captured. I have also encountered one more. In the next post, I'll spoil how many there are in the event, and their level facts. I'll put it in a spoiler tag in case you want it to be a surprise.
04/20/2015 11:01 AM ·Spoilers
Might try a Rock, Fire, Ice, And electric or psychic team next, hmm or perhaps dark.
04/20/2015 11:02 AM ·Spoilers
There are five total. All are limited to 3 support Pokemon. All appear randomly. Supposedly Sharpedo has a slot for a mega stone, and he is the most rare encounter of all 5. Carvanha (Dark) - 4 turns/5% base capture Sharpedo (Dark) - 20/7% Spinda (Normal) - 12/3% Cherbui (Grass) - 5/11% Cherrim (Grass) - 10/5%

I've been using Mega Gengar, Banette, and Xeneas to get the crazy combos.
04/20/2015 12:13 PM ·Spoilers
Yeah, though I think the key is getting long combos as only Sharpedo has a good amount of HP. It's common for me to make just one move with the three I listed and beat the level. The capture rate was not always high so I failed a few times, but eventually I got them. I haven't seen Sharpedo's level yet. Once I do, my 'mon configuration may change.
04/20/2015 12:19 PM ·Spoilers
Well, "common" may be too strong. It's not rare, anyway. 1-3 moves is typical so far.
04/20/2015 12:24 PM ·Spoilers
Finally saw the Cherrim level. Top two rows are filled with wooden blocks, and the disruption adds Pokemon of the same type every few turns. Beat it in five turns with the above combination. Each remaining move adds 5% to the capture rate, so only had a 25% rate after winning. Didn't get him.

Hey look another pokemon with quirky+! I haven't seen sharpedo yet either. Honestly when I first saw this announced I was hoping for, and expecting, more variety of both pokemon and types included. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, just hope they step it up in that regard next time and that they don't make certain appearances too rare.

I just had a 72 combo using gengar with xerneas and scyther. I thought about heracross but it was one I picked up late so it is only level one and my scyther and scizor are levels 8 and 7 respectively.
04/20/2015 7:08 PM ·Spoilers
Under the car seat!! xD Well now you can finally download PRW...
04/21/2015 10:27 AM ·Spoilers
Caught him with 15 moves left and a great ball. His disruption really takes off quick!
04/21/2015 10:51 AM ·Spoilers
Nicely done. I only encountered him one time and I beat him but didn't catch. What trio of Pokemon did you guys use?
04/21/2015 10:59 AM ·Spoilers
I was using the same mega gengar, xerneas, scyther group I had been. Just put up a post with more details, but you know most of it I guess. Encountered around 9:30pm, I was curious if the dark types were more prevalent at night and grass at day but haven't tested as I switched to other things after the catch.
04/21/2015 11:11 AM ·Spoilers

No worries, I was posting it as I wrote that comment, made the post after the catch in off line mode so I could post it when I got home.

Hmm. I'm going to need to go back and check again, my last page has 7 on it with the 5 safari ones and no genesect. Must have missed another one somewhere.
04/22/2015 11:46 AM ·Spoilers
Ha! Found it. Somehow I missed Chandelure and didn't notice. I'm glad it wasn't some special event stage I missed though.
04/22/2015 12:30 PM ·Spoilers
That was a productive play session. Caught Chandelure on 1st play (in 2 move, 90% catch rate!) then went on to S rank 3 more of the troublesome original stages in 4 plays. The new pokemon may have helped. Speaking of which I only need 11 more S ranks to unlock Ex21, so if I don't in a couple of weeks they probably release 15 more main stages again and that'll do it. Mega stages seem hardest.
04/22/2015 12:48 PM ·Spoilers
Megas definitely are. I'll stockpile coins for a while and then buy every powerup (except -1) and that usually does the trick. Actually, one powerup I've never bought is +Attack, because I never knew how much it actually raised your attack. Then the other day I saw it DOUBLED your attack (I thought 1.5, likely because that's the same for EXP), and I realized that really would helped earlier.
04/23/2015 1:30 PM ·Spoilers
It is neat that they leave these blanks to hint at what is coming, but I wonder if timburr is so tough what its big brothers will be like. Was Genesect number 226?

It struck me as a rather weak way to celebrate 3.5 million downloads. Past celebrations have been give aways, not a new special stage going up to replace one that just expired.
04/27/2015 9:30 AM ·Spoilers
Oh yeah, very weak. This was the the leanest "update" so far.
04/27/2015 10:25 PM ·Spoilers
I hit the coin cap today. Time to switch into strategic spending mode. It is the only way I know of to get a balance with something other than zero as your final digit since all transactions are by units of 10 or more. So I guess I'll never be broke now, I'll always have those last 9 coins to remind me of when I was rich.
04/27/2015 10:31 PM ·Spoilers
Klim that trick on the bannette level is sick, almost feels like cheating. Imagine if they allowed a reduce complexity perchase too so that it was only mega gengar and bannette, sick sick sick, it would run for a week!
04/27/2015 10:34 PM ·Spoilers
Marek, that was the original final stage for the main section, ya it is tough. I haven't played it in ages but still need to S rank it eventually. Enjoy!
04/27/2015 10:45 PM ·Spoilers
Whoa! That's a lot of coins. I have about 42k at the moment. Was broke after using Great Balls during the Safari event. Go S rank some levels with all thise coins!
04/27/2015 11:57 PM ·Spoilers
My middle son is 6 and autistic, nonverbal. I put him to bed tonight, and heard his brother (4) talking excitedly and checked on them 2 min. later. He had pushed his substantial bed across the room, used it to get at their basement window, unlatch it hauled himself through and took off. I hit the street looking, turns out he let himself into our neighbor's house and was being returned. Sigh.
04/28/2015 9:59 PM ·Spoilers
Yeah, he is talented and persistent and keeps us on our toes. Scares us at times, great at opening things or taking them apart. Very interested in anything electrical, and can improvise a screwdriver out of many things. Back to thread topic: I burned 25k coins today (actually more but I earned some back) but S ranked Gengar, Mega Gengar and Mega Mewtwo for the effort. 3 down 8 to go.
04/28/2015 10:53 PM ·Spoilers
Make that 4 down, 7 to go. I finally caught Drilbur, took way too long. Marek all I can suggest is saving for boosts. I can grind about 10k a day from meowth with the (way) above method if I keep at it, and boosts are most effective together. Do you have mega Gengar? Reduce complexity is most powerful but disruption delay is huge on him and mega start helps too. +5 turns is a cheap just in case
04/30/2015 6:29 AM ·Spoilers
A New Competitive Stage is live. Mega Bannette, I've never seen one go up mid week before. Still top 20k get mega stone and rest get jewel. Top scores are high already so competition continues to tighten as more players play and near completion of this game. I'd hate to be a hard core completionist in thiss game, especially if you didn't start in the first month.
04/30/2015 10:29 PM ·Spoilers
One more down, only six left! Considering not taking a mega against Timburr, no matter what I pick it works against me.
05/01/2015 12:13 PM ·Spoilers
Down to 3 left to go! Only 165 Milotic, 176 Timburr and 180 Mega Aerodactyl. Sadly, my recent attempt at Mega Aerodactyl was a debacle! I bought mega start, reduce complexity and disruption delay and still only A ranked. I'm down to 28k coin now so I won't be able to get there without a break to restock again now. The goal is in sight just not as near as I'd hoped. Timburr still befuddles me.
05/01/2015 1:43 PM ·Spoilers
Yeah, you'll get them. Just need to overpower with coins. Wait until you're sure you're in the top 20K in the contest.
05/01/2015 1:56 PM ·Spoilers
Yeah, mind sharing your thoughts or strategy for Timburr? Also sorry for the scrawling comment in the XXIst, I was attempting to use miverse on the busted wiiu screen so couldn't see to type and had to blind draw the words on the game pad using the tv for partial reference (doesn't show buttons or cursor except when drawing) Won't be doing that much.
05/01/2015 1:59 PM ·Spoilers
Man, I don't remember what I did. When I have a chance to check out that level later today, I'll let you know.

Cool! New passcode: 04482045 I've never used these so don't know how to get the most out of them, but free stuff is always good right?
05/02/2015 1:47 PM ·Spoilers
Awesome. Thanks for the passcode! I use Level 130 to level up my Pokemon. 50 moves. I always add on that power up when I do it. As for Timburr, I checked out that level again. I used Slowbro as my Mega, Xerneas, Mewtwo, and Sigilyph. All are at least Level 7. I added Moves +5 (ranking is just moves left, so though it doesn't help score, it helps rank), and Mega Start.
05/02/2015 8:41 PM ·Spoilers
Thanks, I didn't know that the extra moves would help with ranking, that info alone should help alot. Thanks for the rest too, it is weird how that stage uses the un-mega-ed form of your mega as disruption, aside from the anoying pillar of blocks down the middle of the screen.
05/02/2015 9:05 PM ·Spoilers
Yeah, I think that's a glitch. I didn't figure the thing out about extra moves until a week or so ago after playing Meowth's level over and over. That alone helps S rank some of the shorter levels. Also helps with the EX levels, though I don't know if S ranks matter there. I'm two away (20 + 21).
05/03/2015 9:37 AM ·Spoilers
This Cole guy is unbelievable! First time I've ever seen a score over 100k, he was the leader before with 91k, he's been in the top 5 in both the previous competitions, he's not using a mega and he is using a pokemon nobody else is using in the top fives that I've seen so far. Meanwhile, I haven't been knocked out of the top 3k yet.
05/03/2015 12:35 PM ·Spoilers
Yeah. And he's Canadian! I'd make a joke but it would be seen as hateful despite the light-heartedness.
05/03/2015 3:00 PM ·Spoilers
Don't need to worry on my account, but admins have their own way of seeing things. (P.S. Is there actually much interest in hockey in Vegas? An NHL expansion there is being considered.)
05/03/2015 4:01 PM ·Spoilers
Vegas is a weird town for sports. People seem interested primarily in the betting aspect of it all. Coming from the Northeast where people are diehard fans of teams (rather than betting lines), I don't really discuss sports too much with people around me as I don't bet on games. I think the town wants a pro team of ANY kind.
05/03/2015 8:34 PM ·Spoilers
Finally cleared Timburr, 2 to go. Thanks for the help, the five extra turns made the difference and mega slowbro was an improvement too.
05/03/2015 8:51 PM ·Spoilers
Thank you Marek, I appreciate that. Dialga!? I haven't even heard of a level for that one in this game yet! Where is it?
05/03/2015 9:34 PM ·Spoilers
There was sorta one going on my first post for world rumble a few week ago. It has slowed a bit now but the post Starts with something like 'Well I'm level 6 already ...' if you want to check it out. Tried setting up a general pokemon discussion thread in activity feed too awhile later with a title like Fluffy's own pokemon Center and a rumble shot of Fluffy Meadows but only 2 came. (Miffy was 1)
05/03/2015 9:37 PM ·Spoilers
Oh that was a good idea. I didn't even know you did that. lol

Looks like the rotating Rotoms are back. Something new too would've been nice, maybe next time.
05/06/2015 12:00 PM ·Spoilers
Unlocked! Haven't tried it yet. Still in the top 4k for mega Bannette, waiting and watching, but will lose net access about 6 hours before it ends ...
05/07/2015 10:37 AM ·Spoilers
I won the banette stone. I wonder how much overlap there is between the 3 groups of 20k winners of each of the three mega stone competitions so far. (Banette, Lucario and Blastoise) Also this new guy is moderately powerful, but too similar to scyther and scizor for my tastes.

I made 2 fully boosted attempts at Genesect today and couldn't even beat it, let alone catch it! Man that's a tough stage! Well back to saving up coin and leveling up my team for another go in a few days.
05/11/2015 9:56 PM ·Spoilers
I've been playing the new stages from today's update all day. Full credit to them for giving us a special level that is more challenging, I love a challenge! I was a bit disappointed to find that there were only 10 new main stages; the previous 2 additional blocks had 15. It is a new area with ne music though. So far I've caught 9/10 plus Regirock.

05/11/2015 10:19 PM ·Spoilers
Yes that snorlax stage is a slugfest and endurance test, it might be good for experience training (leveling up) you pokemon though. I happen to have been blessed with a mega stone for Lucario, from that first competition this thread's initial post was about, so that is what I was using. It is still the only fighting type mega made available and that is the only type normals are weak to.
05/11/2015 10:25 PM ·Spoilers
Slowbro or Ampharos are some of my favourite neutal damage megas for their abilities, Ampharos has good damage output too. Don't remember what its disruption is like, picking to counter that is often wise. One new stage starts with frozen steel blocks accross the top. For that one picking mega Aerodactyl and getting mega start for a first turn clear makes it trivial, for example.

New Daily Pokemon are up, caught Girafig today and Mega Lucario has returned as a 20 move competitive stage with upto 30k more stones up for grabs! I'm a bit surprised that they are revisiting it so soon.
05/18/2015 9:42 AM ·Spoilers
Not bad for no reduce complexity, we'll see if it's enough, but I'm not spending big coin on this one since I've already got it I'll take this week to resock my coins. I depleted them badly catching Genesect and S ranking the 10 new satges. I'm all caught up now I just need to keep up with new content. (maybe work on S ranking expert stages)
05/18/2015 10:25 AM ·Spoilers
Woo, lots of info! My brain is burning! I think I'll continue on my max coin count run, then start out with S-ranking 150 main stages, try to catch Mewtwo and/or Xerneas and or Yvetal (that how you spell it?), and then make a last minute run for both Regirock and the Lucarionite. Almost had Rock with no powerups, but Catchability was super low, so I'm thinking boosts are a must with him.
05/21/2015 1:08 AM ·Spoilers
Welcome aboard Submaster. I've almost saved 50k coin again now. Some of this weeks daily pokemon are tricky to catch, today's (shuckle) has a 10% catch rate with +3 per remaining turn and only 5 turns to complete, so getting that over 20% is unlikely with out a great ball, but I don't recomend those here, just replay until caught took me 4 tries, I was expecting more than that.
05/21/2015 1:12 AM ·Spoilers
Been slow here with Marek, Klim and Miffy all unable to use the accounts in this thread, at this time.
05/21/2015 10:02 AM ·Spoilers
I swapped out Mega Aerodactyl for Mega Glalie and got a 65 combo in two moves. Still had to use a Great Ball to catch him, but using one isn't so much of a decision when you have 90k+ coins.
