Let me be clear: I actually like this game overall. It's a nice time-waster. But player performance has such a strong reliance on luck that the more 'challenging' levels just aren't fun... or even interesting. And the fact that you can, in fact, 'pay to win' is disgraceful.

  • 'pay to win' is in almost all free to play games, so you cant argue with that. but i do agree its based on luck...

  • I agree to a certain extent but there is some skill involved with setting up large combo‛s and doing it in a short amount of time

  • Just because it's there doesn't mean it's good. What's more, Genius Sonority could have easily made the items not "pay to win" by simply making it so that the player cannot achieve an "S" rank (which unlocks "Expert" levels, it seems) by using them. The highest he could get is an "A". See? Easy. What's more, items should not be allowed in the current Mega Lucario competition. (cont...)

  • That has an actual leaderboard attached to it. On top of that, the player party should be standardized, since people who have been playing for longer (or buying EP Boosters and Hearts) will have an automatic advantage because of their customized party. Having P2W elements in a purely single-player game is tolerable (though not optimal), but once you introduce actual competition, it needs to go.

  • If the game itself wasn't completely free to play then I would agree but with games like this that are designed with PTW in mind i can't find it in myself to complain. My plan for Luc is just to level my pokemon and play through the campaign is like usually and on the last day, use all (or at least some) of the jewels rewarded during the campaign to hopefully secure a position in the top 20,000:]

  • Gotta agree with the luck. If I make a match 3 and then link several combos to it from tiles I couldn't even see when I made the move, is that really fun? I've only played a couple times and that's what stood out to me. Surprised I've read very little about it.
