    ive been hunting grank alone for the last 8 years. it's far from impossible. have you ever played dark souls? lol just be cautious and work on evading, and learn when you can heal and sharpen at the right time.

    Yeah, it's all about learning the patterns of the monsters. I also soloed a large portion of G-rank in 3U on two files (one with a bow, I was a fool), and loved every minute. Just wait till you hit Gore. Then you'll forget Mr. Frog ever existed.

    And if you keep having trouble, switch to something like a greatsword or charge blade so that you can learn the art of blocking and sheathing. Dual blades are nice and dodgy, but they start out incredibly weak, and teach you a ton of bad habits.
