help! i think this set is brilliant, but died 8 times on g-rank expedition and only CAPPED one monster! what do i need to survive?

    my defense is higher than either of you, but i suspect your skill sets are better. sigh...i guess the days of moga free hunts are buried with the past. time now for a powerhouse set!!! attack, defense, and evasion based skills are needed (sadly capping skills won't save me).

    typically you're right. in fact, i won't say you're wrong. sadly, being a tri vet makes me ignorant to the challenges of the PS games and now it seems to have caught up with me. i'm hoping if i switch to lancing with guard boost though, i'll at least SURVIVE, even if monsters get away before i can kill them.

    im a vet as well since mhfu. you just need to take your time and observe movements correctly at the right time. G rank is sorta tough solo cause they rush at you. so come prepared as possible. traps, tranqs, flash bombs, plenty of pots. i also recomend evade extender since it makes a huge difference when rolling.
