Question

I am at a loss here, I have made it to the second storyline, and I'm now stuck at a retextured ape. Thats right the Emerald Congalalalalalala (I dont remember how many lals there are) I have read many old forums stating that its weakness is ice. Assuming this is true, then what ice wepons are there. BTW here is my main wep list: 1gunlance 2longsword 3switchaxe 4 dualblades 5swordandshield

What are you having issue with? His weakness is ice, followed by water or thunder. Check out kiranico.com/en/mh4u for tons of goodies. Make sure to bring deodorant when he stinks you. Basically, try not to get jumped on, or trampled, and continue the beat down till he's done.

i got close to killing the thing with Brilliance (dahren mohren gunlamce) i was fine untill the seltas+ decided to impale me and roast me with a side of butter. The imagry is purely because i wear the lovster armor

Bring the dungbombs! I don't know much about gunlances to be honest, I main hh. Just keep at it, and dungbomb any intruders that want to impale you.
