-friends locally, the entire game series was made to be soloable as well becuz usually mh was mainly a solo style game for the most part. I do agree that they could have added most if not all to story mode as well so it'll be easier but i actually like it this way as it gives multiplayer mode more meaning.

Besides, playing with others lessens the burden of having to solo. Soloing multiplayer is a choice its not mandatory like how it pretty much was way back.

Also u can get most of what ur looking for offline now thx to capcom adding G-rank expeditions as well as some G-rank quests offline.

Its best to play with just friends or ppl who u know are very reliable in getting the job done online if ur having too much bad luck with randoms. What i usually do tho is set my settings on "looking for experts" or "looking for strategists" and nost times i get very good groups of randoms that way.

CB you fail to understand being forced to do something kills the fun in it I like games for the choices they offer not being restricted.

But it doesn't restrict u in any way tho....all im saying is those quests can be done alone or in groups. Either way you'll get what u need it just takes time.

Now the original mh as well as mh tri, yes u HAD to go online on them period if u wanted materials exclusive to online since u couldn't go to the online area offline on those 2 games.

The fact that you cant do it offline story is a restriction now way around it.

Not in this iteration. Least not all of it anyway. But regardless wouldn't playing with 3 other ppl help u get what u want faster than solo regardless if its solo online or offline? Especially considering that rares have very low % chances so having others to speed hunts up helps greatly. This is just how mh is designed as well as some other rpg's. Its been like this since the original. Maybe-

-in the future capcom will make it where u can hunt all G-rank monsters offline also.

If you have a decent group it would be easier but I thought of another way to make it easier offline allow the palicoes to upgrade gear the same way us hunters do. New concept or old one depending on how you see it. Scrap the scraps they use same parts for weapons and armor we do or they could have scraps used in upgrades.

Well this game DOES have G rank offline quests just not the lvl G-rank itself. It even has G-rank expeditions. But what i was getting at is that u can freely do online quests without the need of internet connection so that's why its not restrictive. All games are gonna have certain things exclusive to it in certain ways. I just don't see the big deal of having to go to the elder g hall to do most-

-of the G rank quests. Not everybody online is a bad player and if ur having trouble finding good randoms then join up with friends or choose to solo that's what i do. Once u adjust more to the game and get better at knowing monsters patterns, soloing at online areas ain't that bad if u choose to solo. But considering how ez online access is i fail to see the complaining about doing most of G-rank

There's plenty of good players online that can easily cheese through G-rank quests and help u get rare materials a lot faster than solo.

Now it'd be different if u HAD to have internet connection to go online or at the online area at all then it could be seen as restrictive, that's how mh tri was as well as the original mh. But capcom now allow us to do online quests offline so its a lot more convenient and better than it use to be. Online monsters are stronger either way u slice it whether it have a G-rank or not but u can cut-

-the time down it takes to complete online quests with better gear and getting more adjusted at the game if u decide to solo G-rank sometimes. But again u don't have to since u can easily join up with others.

Overall yes ur gonna have to go online to unlock certain content either way whether it had a G-rank or not that's just how it usually is with multiplayer rpg's.
