If you're having trouble defeating regular Lucario with plenty of time to spare, one thing you might try, after turning Slowbro into Mega Slowbro, is to start arranging your Mega Slowbros into a checkerboard pattern in the lower three rows, immediately as they appear into your board. Have one Mega Slowbro elsewhere, ready to match with one of the other columns of Mega Slowbros.

    … and it should trigger a chain reaction of Mega Slowbros above other Mega Slowbros for a pretty massive combo and, as a result, quite a lot of damage!

    You should get a bigger clearing of the board if you place that extra Mega Slowbro at one of the side edges of the lower three rows, for a vertical match that triggers the chain reaction. Here, I placed that extra Mega Slowbro at the very left.

    Of course, this technique won't quite work when Lucario starts disrupting (the point at which Lucario does that, /I BELIEVE/, is health-based), but note that Lucario will only disrupt after you make a combo, NOT after certain time intervals. If you feel you can still arrange your Pokémon for a good combo -- so long as your move-arounds don't result in any inadvertent matches, you should be good!

    And one more thing! Keep 2500 gold handy for a Great Ball, in case you're really happy with the resulting catchability after a win. I'd say maybe go with at least 30% or 33% normal catchability, to multiply that to at least 60% or 66% with a Great Ball. Best of luck!
