/Please/ tell me there's a more reliable way to dodge Ukanlos' swim attack then a perfectly angled dive against a wall. Because if that's the only way to avoid it, I may seriously have to stop trying to beat him altogether... He's way more frustrating then he's worth.... e.e I mean, all this for even /harder/ quests? x.x

    Just run perpendicular to where he is facing. You can run faster than he can turn, albeit just barely. Be sure that you have plenty of room and don't get slowed down by a ledge.

    Yeah towards him. It's a bit difficult, because it has to be RIGHT when he goes underground, so it's good to sheathe the moment you see him start digging
