love you nintendo, but very disappointed with this. some very odd design choices and the lack of gamepad and wiiu pro controller support throughout all of the modes is baffling! why make a game on your current console and have it require controllers from the previous system is straight up odd. this game seems like a quick cash grab. mario party 1-3 remain the best in the series.

    Yeah I still like this game for the most part but the limited controllers are a problem. If you think about it this game will become unplayable in the next generation of consoles unless Nintendo adds Wii remote support.

    good point. i hope ninty finally ditches the 'wii' name for the next console and starts fresh. i've been a gamer since atari and have never seen a new console require the previous consoles controllers to play games. it'd be like a game on the snes requiring a nes controller. its just odd. the older mario party games had full game boards. this feels very rushed.
