    Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. Monster Hunter has been around for many years; dating back to the PS2 and PSP. Seeing as MH3U came out only a few years ago, you could hardly be classified as a "veteran." Were you a true veteran, you would know that Felyne Comrades (AKA Palicoes in MH4U) were in MH Freedom Unite on PSP. Ergo, before Shakalakas. So for me, it didn't feel right to have Shakalakas.

    well my brother got tri then i got 3 ultimate and i have 500+ hours in 3 ultimate and a hr of 131 now if you insult me again you will confirm my suspicion that you are to dumb to enjoy the game and all that you want to do is bring down others now i know we all sin so let us change our ways

    All you got out of what I just said is that I'm mean? You missed my point. I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm simply stating that the term "veteran" would only apply to those that have played Monster Hunter since the first game on PS2, not the 3U, which is the sixth game of the series in the US.

    so i would have to play the first mh to the last mh in order to be called a veteran thats like saying a war vet would have to serve from birth till death now like i said i am a 3 ultimate veteran i hunted very little in tri but i would still call my self a 3 ultimate vet and a tri vet but i lean towards 3 ultimate vet cause im better there now if i played the first mh and the second mh TBC

    but skiped 3 tri and 3 ultimate i would call my self a vet from those two games that i played and became real good at. now answer me this would you call a person who came home after his war contract thing was over and served in the line of duty for only a year a veteran? i would

    But anyway I named my Palico in MH4U after my Felyne Comrade in MHFU. I'm glad the Felynes came back, I have never liked Shakalakas. And as for your screenshot, it seems a lot bigger but my best bet for that monster is that it's the Lao Shan Lung, which has the same shape to fit that skeleton.
