No. All type matchups in this game are the same as the type matchups in ORAS.

Ghost has always been super effective to ghost. Supernatural reasoning. Water doesnt hurt water, because two rivers connecting becomes one river.

in my own defence I don't use ghost types and I only owned Pokemon X, Pokemon Y and Pokemon Ω Ruby
