The Ghost type Pokemon has this on his grid. Pretty clever I'd say.

  • 616 WOULD be compelling for your argument, because you could say that the playing field is a rectangular with a depth of 1. Thus, 6x1x6.

  • Are we still talking about the number of the beast or geometry?

  • Both. Mathematics is perfect and fits beautifully into any conversation. 8)

  • Are you a math major by any chance?

  • I regret not being one, but I did major in Biology and Computer Science. I kinda wish I triple majored but I guess it's not too bad I didn't. But, I've always been a fan of math.

  • I respect that. My math capabilities have been rather mediocre for as long as I can remember.

  • Math entails a lot of different stuff. It's okay if you're not a numbers person, there's more to it than that. ...I'm not a major, so I don't know it all, but logic is a major part.

  • Still, I can count with one hand the amount of people I've met that are deeply interested into mathematics. For the most part, people see it as an annoying and bothersome part of the education curriculum.

  • I know. I wish it weren't the case, but, well, everyone has different interests. Math is very niche, even though it's widely taught.

  • Math is like Shin Megami Tensei: there's a lot of it but it's very niche. *goes back into the night*

  • Its the reason why we can have this conversation. We owe so much to it, I wish people would acknowledge this more often.

  • A lot of things are niche. That being said, good night Lief.

  • Thank you Lief, and good night. :) Even though physical activity is not my forte, I can certainly admit that it's obviously an important part of life. But everyone always acts like math is useless or intolerable. It's annoying.

  • Brute force didn't built the internet. For all of its destructive power, the atomic bomb couldn't have existed without Einstein's equations. Knowledge is power.

  • I'm not faulting you for not liking it. You can certainly hate it! I hate boring stuff like Economics and Politics, but I can admit that it's a super-important part of the world we live in.
