Review: A step in the right direction. Mario Party mode is just as bad as MP9 and Bowser Party is kinda interesting. Amiibo party tries to return to proper Mario Party, but the boards are too small, lack any intersections, give you too many coins at the start (turn 1 star, anyone?), and you can't change the number of turns. one-way, stuck with everyone mode the afterthought side project if it must still exist. I do like the re-addition of 2-VS-2 mini-games, a big loss to MP9. I like the idea of everyone VS gamepad man; was hoping for some 1-VS-3 games this way too, but oh well. Lack of a story mode doesn't help when you're playing solo. Challenge list was a nice touch, but it seems most of them are really easy.

Good review. Doesn't look like Nintendo put much thought into this game. Like its their ugly but money making step-child. Not even an online mode. I will be skipping this game.
