I downloaded a SEGA Genesis VST for FL Studio yesterday and it's really good. You can basically create any Genesis sounds in it. But it's sooo hard to use. There are like over 20 different sliders and it's hard to know which does what.

I just managed to create an instrument that sounds exactly like slap bass.

It's basically when you, well slap the bass. It's used in for example the underground theme in Super Mario All-Stars.

So a slap trumpet is when you slap a trumpet?

I mean when you slap the strings of the bass. a trumpet doesn't have any strings.

I know, but it would probably make a really cool noise if you smash it to pieces.
