For me and i think all zelda fans the most important on the zelda franchise is not the number of games but the quality and new ideas that present each zelda game so if the game needs time to development the new ideas for me waiting another year don't bother much and thanks for the zelda team to tell the fans the reson and i know the new zelda will be awesome, continue the good work!

Thats why nintendo makes better games than other developers, its not about making a deadline, its about making something they can be proud of, that lives up to the reputation of the nintendo brand, not to mention meeting or exceeding the expectations of one if not the most highly revered game series of all time.

or its because they launched the wii u with way too many flaws and want the NX to have w proper launch with the new zelda. we got screwed with wii u and they have yet to make up for it.

I was worried Nintendo would rush to complete such a vast and still-developing game just for the impatient fans. But, they've managed to stall for as long a period as possible so as to make this new and improved Zelda U game like no other: perfect and excellent. well 2015 is already stealing a lot of my moneys on rpgs so yus I'm totally ok with a later realese! I agree with many of you people. Even though Aonuma-san's announcement may cause shockwaves throughout the Legend of Zelda fan community worldwide, I do believe this is for the best. Who knows? Maybe we will get a Legend of Zelda game so legendary, it will surpass Ocarina of Time in quality, storyline, gameplay, and theme. I truly believe The Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be a truly good game.

this will be an epic game no matter when its relesed like other classics such as twilight princess wich was shown e 3 but was replaced by wind waker but T P was eventuly relesed and its an epic game.
