Well i think after Zelda Majora's Mask 3D, i have all i could want right now, unless they announce the second game to Pokemon X and Y

Well... Going back to the N64, all the console Zelda games were delayed and they turned out great. Uhhh... I hate having to wait though.

I feel that the final boss of the game must be a memorable one, but one that fits in with the story line. If this enemy sent out a minion that size (back in the trailer) then the final boss must be huge and behind all of this. Maybe it's a mechanized monster!!!

I kinda have a feeling it might be almost similar to Xenoblade Chronicles, since it might have all the free roaming stuff and whatnot.

I can't say I'm not disappointed, so I'm not going to. I WILL, however, say that I completely understand why the delay is occuring, and I can live with it. I know Nintendo won't fail us, and I know we'll get an absolutely incredible Zelda game next year.

I'm fine with a delay (more time for Xenoblade), but not showing the game at E3 makes no sense. Has nothing developed at all since last year? Are they starting over from scratch? Those are the only reasons I could see for this.

It is fine have fun working hard to make the ultimate Zelda game looking forward to it.

While the delay is something we expect from Zelda game development, the fact that Nintendo is opting to tell us months before E3 that it wont be shown to me seems that there are some big changes occurring. It is a very sad news development as the Zelda/E3 was the thing I was really looking forward to. Nintendo, Can you at least give us a new batch of screenshots ?

I truly hope this doesn't spell the end for The WII U...I bought this system specifically for a hypethetical new zelda back in 2012...and now E3 is only giving us games for 2015..Zelda now not being one of them.... I feel as if Wii U is getting abandoned. :(

WOOOOOO! SO excited for the next Zelda game! While I'm upset it's probably not coming out in 2015, I understand fully, and think it's a good idea, so you can work on it more. Would rather wait a week for a cookie than a day for a punch in the face! ;-)

Just a tip, developers: PLEEEAAASE don't leave the title, "Zelda for Wii U". When I got the new Smash Bros, at first I was wondering what the real name of it was. When I discovered that the actual name was "Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS", I thought, "That's not a name. 'Super Smash Bros Brawl' is, but not this." Don't ruin the first impression by leaving the name as it is now.

Wonder if it will be better than Ocarina of Time. If it is, then it will automatically the greatest video game of all time.

Please, please, please make sure to add voice acting with this extra development time. Miyamoto-san gave Link his name because he said that he provides a link between the player and the game world. That link is severely damaged when the characters don't have voices of their own. It makes NPCs feel lifeless. Keep Link mute by all means, but bring Hyrule alive by giving NPCs a voice!

Pretty disappointed that the game is being delayed, but I hope that they will use this extra time to make the game a complete and polished experience

That's okay! I know Nintendo will use every day to enhance the game. I'll be too busy playing Xenoblade Chronicles X anyway ;)

As much as I respect the decision to delay the release of this game, I feel that a large amount of people will have extremely high expectations for this game, as there's now a higher standard for having such a large timeframe. As long as its still coming to the Wii U and is a solid game. Please don't pull a GC/Wii Zelda move! Cause I have a feeling in which you said ya have come up with fresh ideas as NX being able to push more polygons. Watch it be a WiiU/NX title.

These are the reasons I love Nintendo, I dunno if you noticed but on the Wii U gen they have shown a great love for us customers. Mr. Aonuma, as long as it is to make the game the Best Ultimate Zelda videogame yet, and to implement those new interactions and innovations, please, take as much time as you need. Ganondorf is dead. But I hope this game has a really great story and please no princess kidnapping this time. Zelda isn't like Peach. Of course keep her in the game, but let it be a story that focuses on Link's personal life and conflicts that has to do with him instead of hyrule in general. Nintendo lacks good story. So lets prove that wrong with Zelda Wii U.

i think this is bull with all due respect this title is only being delayed for a lazy port on the nx system. wii u is struggling enough as is plz dont kill the wii u its only just now starting to get great games, nintendo plz just forget about the nx and focus on making wii u even better. nx can wait make zelda a wii u exclusive.

That's okay, Aonuma! I'd much rather have "the best Zelda experience ever" (as you put it) than have the game rushed to meet the 2015 deadline. On an unrelated note, I really like that Zelda shirt!

O.Z., the NX won't be out until at least 2017. Nintendo hasn't abandoned the Wii U. Heck, Iwata only mentioned the NX to assure us that Nintendo will still be making traditional consoles.

Just use the extra time to fill the open world with dungeons, villages, enemies, and NPCs. Make Hyrule come to life like no game before it in the series.

That's bull you already showed us 2 demos and now it will not be shown @ E3. I've waited 4 freaking years for a zelda game to be hit with this again. You barely have third party support and now your slow to bring out your first partys. Not a good look Nintendo not at all.
