Okay, so I got Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (gamecube version) and it can't read the disc. Any suggestions on what to do?

This was 60$ off of Amazon, so I don't wanna have wasted my money, you know? I've tried cleaning it and it still wouldn't work for me.

take a look at it see if its scratched if it is take it to gamestop let them tell you if its fixable if its smudged with finger prints use rubbing alcahol on a lint free cloth to clean it let it dry and wipe away the residue again with a lint free cloth and try it again if that dont work idk i guess take your gamecube to get checked.

Have you tried cleaning the disc laser? My brother and I had a GameCube, we used to take an unused toothbrush and gently scrub the laser's bulb. Not sure if you'd be up to trying that, but let me know if anything changes.

I just tried it and another game worked, so it must just be the game. Thanks for your help, everyone. I'll just have to get it checked out.

I'm not that experienced with game's values or console technology, though. Try asking an employee at Gamestop or Best Buy.

Honestly, I wouldn't wait. Many of ebay seller's return policies are super strict (usually within a week) and if the don't have a return policy and they listed it as working and lied, you would have to file against him with ebay asap. I've had a bunch of experience with ebay in the past, so just passing some advice.

Oh wait, you said Amazon! My bad, but still, the sooner the better with these sorts of things, especially if it wasn't from a seller who specifically goes through Amazon.

We got it checked out a bit earlier, and they cleaned it, but it still didn't work. Oh well, we'll just get another one. I got Wind Waker while we were getting the other one cleaned, and we found another Twilight Princess. Thank you all for your help, it means a lot.
